Here you’ll find general info on my life outside of robots. Yes… there’s more.

First and foremost, take me away from the lab and you’ll probably find me doing something active. It could be running, basketball, boxing, yoga, squash… did I mention running? I’m always up for competitive track events so if you’re also a keen runner, then please check out my Strava page.

I wind down by reading anything BUT an academic paper (crime or fantasy novels are my go-tos). I also enjoy playing my guitar, cooking “good” food, and watching movies (test my movie buffness, I dare you). I’m relatively certain I’ve spent around a quarter of my life tuned into music, especially the part spent walking places. As a fan of all genres, I embrace every chance I get to discover new songs and see musical artists live.

I love to travel and take great pleasure in learning about other cultures. I’m easily absorbed by differences in language, history, and most importantly, cuisine! Visiting China and Japan have been some of my fondest experiences to-date.

A final detail about me is that I’m half-Greek, half-English. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have spent my childhood in the beautiful city of Athens.
